Del Juicio Estético a la Cartografía Deleuziana: Análisis de los Juicios sobre Gustos en la Infancia

RESUMEN

Este trabajo, es parte de una beca doctoral que se propone caracterizar la experiencia estética infantil. Presenta un conjunto de procedimientos interpretativos y categorías aplicadas al objeto de estudio: juicio estético en la infancia. La estrategia metodológica es de carácter cualitativa. Se realizaron 30 entrevistas abiertas a niños de entre 4 y 12 años con el fin de explorar y construir hipótesis teóricas para caracterizar los juicios sobre el gusto estético. Para el análisis del material discursivo acopiado se recurrió a la cartografía spinoziana propuesta por Gilles Deleuze. Se presentan algunos extractos discursivos, se ilustran y comentan algunas de las distintas líneas de análisis y problemas teóricos que surgen de estas primeras aproximaciones a dicho material. Centralmente, se propone una primera distribución de los juicios sobre el gusto en dos categorías de análisis: en cinéticas y dinámicas por un lado, y morales, por el otro. Además, si bien no se trató del asunto que motivó la investigación, se aportan elementos para sostener la tesis deleuziana según la cual los “niños son spinozistas”.

ABSTRACT

From Aesthetic Judgment to Deleuzian Cartography: Analysis of Taste Judgments in Childhood

This work, part of a doctoral scholarship that proposes to characterise the childhood aesthetic experience, presents a combination of interpretative procedures and categories applied to the object of aesthetic reason in childhood. The methodological strategy is of a qualitative nature. Thirty open interviews were conducted with children of between four and twelve years old, with the aim of exploring and constructing theoretic hypotheses to characterise judgment about taste. For the analysis of the discursive material obtained, the Spinozian cartography proposed by Gilles Deleuze was employed. We present some discursive extracts, illustrating and commenting on some of the different lines of analysis and theoretic problems that emerged from these first examinations of the material. Principally, a first wide division of judgement about taste was proposed. Also, although this wasn’t the thing that motivated the investigation, elements were contributed to maintain the Deleuzian thesis according to which “children are Spinozists”.
