El Babytalk como Proceso de Significación

RESUMEN



En este trabajo se analiza el Babytalk como proceso de producción de sentido. Se presenta un código de observación original que es producto de la combinación de aportes teóricos y datos empíricos producidos en el campo de la psicología del desarrollo con herramientas de la semiótica discursiva. El código se aplica al análisis de un breve fragmento de una escena de interacción espontánea entre una madre y su beba de seis meses.

ABSTRACT


Babytalk as a Meaning Process



The main objective of this work is to study some characteristics of the adults´ stimulation offered to the babies. In particular, it will be worked on a type of stimulation directed to infants which is known as `BABYTALK´. In this way we propose an experimental´s observation code based on the relation between interaction and environment. It suppose understand the phenomenon as a fragment of the signifier dimension of the social phenomenon. In other Words, as a process of meaning production in real time. In this paper, results generated in the field of developmental psychology during the last decades are combined with toolboxes of semiotics of media, in order to propose a system of transcription of scenes of spontaneous interaction between adults and infants.
