RESUMEN

Este trabajo presenta un análisis de las relaciones entre la ciencia y el psicoanálisis desde un punto de vista epistemológico. Se divide en tres partes. En la primera, aborda la pregunta por la especificidad epistémica de la ciencia, y la identifica en la matematización de lo real. En la segunda, analiza la curiosa presencia de esta exigencia de matematización en la obra de Freud. En la tercera, interroga su estatuto en la enseñanza de Lacan, que finalmente aporta una herramienta conceptual que permite delimitarla con mayor profundidad, y formular entonces la contraposición entre la ciencia y el campo de la subjetividad (que incluye al psicoanálisis, a pesar de su afinidad con el espíritu científico).

ABSTRACT

Science and psychoanalysis

This paper presents an analysis of the relationship between science and psychoanalysis from an epistemological perspective. It is divided into three parts. The first part addresses the question of the epistemic specificity of science, identifying it in the mathematization of the real. The second part analyzes the curious presence of this demand for mathematization in Freud’s work. The third part examines its status in Lacan’s teaching, which ultimately provides a conceptual tool that allows for a deeper delineation and thus formulates the opposition between science and the field of subjectivity (which includes psychoanalysis, despite its affinity with the scientific spirit).
