La convivencia escolar en la mirada de niños, niñas y jóvenes que crean cortometrajes.

Tema: El presente proyecto se presenta en continuidad de la línea de investigación que venimos desarrollando como equipo en el marco del Proyecto UBACyT 2020/25. En él destacamos el valor de los cortometrajes realizados por niños, niñas y adolescentes como una vía privilegiada para acceder a la multiplicidad de sentidos que conforman la experiencia infantil y juvenil contemporánea. En este nuevo estudio, nos proponemos focalizar en la convivencia escolar, eje central de la agenda educativa actual. Si la experiencia de producir cine en la escuela transforma radicalmente el sistema de actividad escolar y habilita nuevas formas de subjetividad (Cole y Engeström; Nakache, 2021), nos preguntamos: ¿Qué expresan estos cortometrajes cuando abordan la convivencia escolar desde la mirada infantil y juvenil? Son objetivos de este estudio: 1) Explorar los diferentes modos en que la convivencia escolar se presenta en los cortometrajes realizados por niños, niñas y jóvenes en ámbitos educativos en relación con las características de sus realizadores y de las condiciones institucionales donde se producen. 2) Examinar las ideas acerca de la convivencia escolar que aparecen, en relación con las conceptualizaciones acerca de este problema sostenidas desde el campo disciplinar psicoeducativo. 3) Indagar las significaciones que atribuyen otros niños y jóvenes, diferentes a los autores de los cortometrajes relevados, al apreciar estas películas y registrar qué puntos de vista asumen como espectadores. 4) Poner en relación los hallazgos obtenidos acerca de esta mirada infantil y juvenil sobre la convivencia escolar con las especificidades del proceso de realización cinematográfica en la escuela. Para ello realizaremos un estudio exploratorio-descriptivo con análisis cualitativo de casos sobre una muestra intencional de cortometrajes producidos por estudiantes de nivel primario y secundario en instituciones educativas de AMBA. A su vez, se buscará triangular la perspectiva que se releve, con la apreciación de otros niños, acerca de la convivencia escolar. Tal abordaje metodológico es consistente con una concepción relacional y situada de la conflictividad escolar, que entiende la convivencia como una oportunidad de desarrollo y aprendizaje para toda la comunidad educativa. La experiencia de hacer cine en espacios educativos es consecuente con esta perspectiva, en tanto favorece la participación colectiva recuperando la mirada de niños y jóvenes.

Tema en Inglés: School Coexistence Through the Eyes of Children and Adolescents Who Create Short Films.
Resumen del tema en inglés: This project continues the line of research we have been developing as a team within the framework of the UBACyT 2020/25 Project. It highlights the value of short films created by children and adolescents as a privileged means of accessing the multiplicity of meanings that shape contemporary childhood and youth experiences. In this new study, we aim to focus on school coexistence, a central issue on today?s educational agenda. If the experience of filmmaking in schools radically transforms the school activity system and enables new forms of subjectivity (Cole & Engeström; Nakache, 2021), we ask: What do these short films express when they address school coexistence from children´s and adolescents? perspectives? The objectives of this study are: 1) To explore the different ways in which school coexistence is represented in short films made by children and adolescents in educational settings, in relation to the characteristics of the filmmakers and the institutional conditions under which the films are produced. 2)To examine the ideas about school coexistence that emerge in the films, in relation to the conceptualizations of this issue within the psychoeducational field.3)To investigate the meanings attributed to these short films by other children and adolescents (not involved in their creation), analyzing the viewpoints they adopt as viewers.4)To relate the findings about children´s and adolescents? perspectives on school coexistence to the specific features of the filmmaking process within schools. To this end, we will conduct an exploratory-descriptive study with qualitative case analysis of an intentional sample of short films produced by primary and secondary school students in educational institutions located in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA). Additionally, we aim to triangulate the perspectives emerging from the films with the responses of other children regarding school coexistence. This methodological approach is consistent with a relational and situated conception of school conflict, which understands coexistence as an opportunity for development and learning for the entire educational community. The experience of making films in educational settings aligns with this perspective, as it fosters collective participation by recovering the voices and viewpoints of children and adolescents.
